What is Kinesiology taping Tape?

Kinesiology Tape is an elastic therapeutic sports tape used to support muscles, tendons, and ligaments in the treatment of pain and disability from athletic injury.

When KT tape is properly applied, the elasticity in the KT tape gently lifts the skin, decompressing the layers of soft tissue below. This gentle lifting of the skin creates a space that enables the greater movement of blood and lymphatic fluid which then transports white blood cells throughout the body, removes waste products, cellular debris, and bacteria, and ultimately alleviates pressure and swelling.

Add proper stretching and warm-up to your exercise routine. It is also important to know your limits and avoid pushing your muscles to do what they are not ready to.
